I would like to introduce myself as Sarvesh, at present an NRI from Toronto , Canada. First I appreciate the quick and prompt response from the Admin in this site. Me and my friend in US own few plots in VGP Vinoth Town Phase 1, at Vadakal Village, Sriperumbudur. Unfortunately during my last visit to Chennai, I was informed that SIPCOT is acquiring these plots for Airport or some Industrial development. Details of Land Owners & SIPCOT Issue

To get Patta

First, you will have to get EC from the date when the land is purchased to till date.

Once you get the EC, you have to attach the copy of the registered Sale Deeds/Registered Documents from the previous land owner along with your ID proof and Residence proof.

And you will have to meet the concerned Village Administrative Officer (VAO) and you to submit your request to get the Patta in Taluk Office.

Will new airport plan affect the Real Estate in Sriperumbudur?

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister had announced the setting up of a new Greenfield Airport at Sriperumbudur and Tiruvallur taluks, apart from the expansion of the existing airport at Meenambakkam.

The greenfield airport was expected to come up on app. 4,820 acres (19.5 km²).

Initially the work for the greenfield airports was be entrusted to the Airports Authority of India (AAI) but later a public-private partnership was also considered. The Prime Minister’s Committee had also asked for a pre-feasibility report for the airport.

Dear Forum Members

At one stage our forum was quite active about the news re Sipcot takeover of  VGP I-IV plots in several villages including Vadagal village for further Industralisation. But of late there is no effective news. The latest position seems to be that

- some plot holders have received 1st notice with no follow-up about objections/meetings etc

- a percentage of plot holders have also been notified with 2nd notice last yers in some Chennai newspaper perhaps in March 2010.

Land acquision - Vinoth Town IV (Village Vadagal)

Dear friends,

This day we have recd SIPCOT notice under Sec(2) to surrunder or deliver possession to SPL Tahsildar within 30 days of the service of order the land as per schedule under survey no 142/4 ( 2 plots) signed by spl Tahsildar-Unit-III.

On contacting VGP Delhi, and subsequenty their Corporate office by them, we are informed that most people have got it or are in the process of getting the notices.

Yesterday 09-June-2010, Collector & government officials visited Vadamangalam village and posted flags across different areas.
Please let me know if this is for acquisition or the visit was for different developments?

 

As I have identified a buyer to sell my land in Vadamangalam village, I wanted to know if there will be any propblem.
