Survey numbers of land under acquisition in Sriperumbudur

Acquisition of land in Mathur, vallam, Budhanur and Vadagal:

Here I am consolidating the survey numbers and giving you below all that has appeared in the newspapers up to 12.1.2010 -

The collector of Kancheepuram notifications in respect of the above, published in Deccan Chronicle and Dinmalar as on 12.1.2010 covers the following main survey number subdivisions:



Mathur: 44,46, 47,48,51, 52,59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 71, 72, 73, 74

Budanur: 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 40, 41, 42, 76, 78, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 90, 95 and 96

Vallam: 11, 12, 13, 14, 28, 35, 37, 45, 46, 47, 50, 232, 244, 245, 247, 248,290, 291, 293, 294, 295, 296, 297,298, 299, 300, 301, 302, 307, 308, 319, 343, 344, 346, 347, 352, 357, 359, 364, 367, 404, 405, 408, 410, 415, 417, 426, 430, 483, 484, 485,489, 490, 491,492, 495, 496

Vadagal A: 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 13, 15, 16, 17, 40, 41, 42

Vadagal B: 176, 180, 182, 184, 186, 193, 195, 197, 250, 252, 256, 260, 265, 272, 274, 275.

Although the Oragadam to Sriperumbudur 6 lane traffic line has been mostly formed now, it was surprising to see on 18.11.09 newspaper acquisition notices in respect of Pondur Village land subdivisions under S.No.76, 78. 79, 115,121, 123,124,125, 129, 130,131,132,133,494, 496 and 498 covering 595 sq mtrs.

If readers come across with any acquisition notices in other newspapers covering numbers not mentioned above, can submit the same to the forum so that outstation readers will stand benefited.

Some more survey numbers in Vadagal A and Mathur has been notified for take over and notice appeared in Deccan Chronicle on 13th January.

They are:
Vadagal A: Survey Numbers 26, 27, 28 & 29

(Descripation of some of these survey numbers contain:Groundnut sowing,moong dhal, karamani, ladies finger, paddy, coconut trees, water melon, ploughed land. Probably the villager land owners of these are cultivating these lands regularly and we are going to loose these lands for concrete jungles of factories and the cultivators who lose their lands will only have to vacate their villages and go to the cities in search of pastures new!
What a skewed type of development in this State. Now right from Oragadam up to the outskrit of Sriperumbur town and from there up to Sunkuvar chatram and then from there again back to Oragadam on the other way round a very vast area will be under industrialization of Sriperumbudur with many small villages surrounded and chocked by the units chimneys.)

Mathur: 324, 325, 326, 3127, 328, 329, 330 & 331

So much land has been notified for take over but not a single word in these advertisements about how much compensation will be offered to the land owners!!! With the financial position of the State being what it is now, land owners will have to wait for a very very long time to get their money and that too well below the market price.

this site is such a grt asset to people like me , who is affected by land acquisition.
my family had lost about 12 acres of land by sipcot's acquisition. I had fought from the genesis and now the high court wants to put a quiet us to the issue and hearing cases finally pertaining to take over of land.

I have a plot of land in no 174, Palanaloor village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, survey number 123/4A and 123/5. Can anybody assist me with the details as to if this plot is under consideration for take-over by SIPCOT. If so how do I protest if the compensation islow which I presume will be. i am atleast happy that somebody has started something like this so that all affected people can actually get together and fight the issue.

Smile Do you have any idea about Survey numbers taken in Oragadam area for Road expansion... Our land has been taken to the extent of 12 cents and VAO says, it was published on DC on 14.01.2010, which iam not aware... If someone has a copy, please post it.

I am Ramakrishnan. I have a 2400sqft land in VadaclB village. I verified with the SIPCOT office, Sriperumbadur & they have confirmed my land also is in the taken over list.
I work in Oragadam & live in Chennai.

I have not received any communication from SIPCOT. Kindly provide me the below information, if possible:
1. When is the land expected to be taken over? Has anyone filed a caveat in court?
2. Is the acquisition cost decided? If yes, at what rate?

                  I am prakash and i have two plots in sri perambadhu vallam village near vallakottai and my survery no is 307/2 as per the above messages i read i can see my survey no too. can any one please tell me whether this acquisition has took place becaus ei didnt receive any notification from the government and what is the current market price for this area as i  need to sell my ground urgently for some personal issues. I had purchased the said land (Plot no.180 in VGP Jyanthi Town Part I) in year 1991  from VGP; I now find that the tn govt has proposed to acquire the same. When I contacted Mr. Paramshiva (retd. tahsildar) at vgp office in vgp square he stated that the association of land purchasers has taken an stay order from the high court and the matter will be resolved either way within next couple of  months. If any of you come to know the current situation or if you could advice as to what collective action can be taken for the redressal of the same I shall be ever ready to contribute what may be required of me for the purpose.
